Engage Sport North Partners with the City of Prince George and Community Associations to Bring Recreation Close to Home
Together with the City of Prince George and several Prince George Community Associations, Engage Sport North is excited to announce the launch of an extensive grassroots recreation program to enhance community engagement and foster healthy living in neighbourhoods across Prince George.
This collaboration reflects the commitment of the City of Prince George to bring sports and community development to every corner of the city. Engage Sport North is proud to support this initiative by offering a range of exciting fall activities for children, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, track and field, multisport, and badminton.
“We’re thrilled to work alongside the City of Prince George and these vibrant community associations to provide accessible and engaging sports programs for children across the city,” said Olivia McClair, Lead Sport Development Coordinator for Engage Sport North. “Our shared goal is to bring recreation closer to home and promote an active and healthy lifestyle for children in our community.”
The program aims to enhance fundamental athletic skills, promote teamwork, and provide a fun and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow. With a focus on affordability, the cost of participation is set at $50 per child. Registration for all programs opens September 1, 2023.

Dates: Various weekdays and times starting the week of September 18
Age Groups: Ages 6-8 and Ages 9-12
Cost: $50 per participant
