(PRINCE GEORGE, BC, November 30, 2023) – Engage Sport North, in partnership with the City of Prince George and several Prince George Community Associations, is thrilled to announce the return of their city-wide grassroots recreation program for Prince George youth.

“Following a successful launch in fall 2023, we’re excited to once again work alongside the City of Prince George and community associations to provide accessible and engaging sports programs for children across the city,” said Olivia McClair, Lead Sport Development Coordinator for Engage Sport North. “We’re grateful for the City’s support to enable us to once again offer a variety of affordable sport programs at elementary schools across the City.”

The program aims to enhance fundamental athletic skills, promote teamwork, and provide a fun and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow. The cost per program is $50 per child. Registration for all programs opens December 1, 2023.

Program details:

Dates: Various weekdays and times starting in mid-January until March 2024

Age Groups: Ages 6-8, 6-12 and 9-12

Cost: $50 per participant
