Former Prince George Canadian Sport School athletes Evan Bichon, Colby Graham and Meryeta O’dine take on the world as they compete at six World Cup events.

Over the next four weeks, this dynamic trio will be competing in China, Russia, Austria, and Italy for their chance to qualify for Canada’s Olympic snowboard team competing in Bejing, China February 2022.

Raised in Prince George, BC all three of these athletes attended high school locally at D.P. Todd Secondary and trained with Engage Sport North coaches through the Canadian Sports School.

Meryeta is currently on the snowboard cross-national team, and Evan and Colby are both a part of the snowboard cross NextGen program.

With three locations across northern BC, Engage Sport North is proud to offer athletes the opportunity to participate in the Canadian Sport School.

The school provides student-athletes and para-athletes on a high-performance pathway in grades 10-12 an opportunity to balance their academic course load and dryland strength and conditioning training in a structured, yet flexible environment. We are so proud of our athletes and will be cheering them on the whole way.
