Park Play Days are back in Smithers. From now until August 23, Engage Sport North is offering free sport programming for children 2 – 12 years old in parks throughout the community. Sessions are offered on Tuesdays from 9 until 11:30 am at Ranger Park and on Wednesdays from 9 until 11:30 am at Kiddies Park.

Our trained Program Leaders will lead physical literacy games and activities designed to help children enjoy being physically active while developing important fundamental movement skills.

Each day is different, children will be introduced to a variety of sports and sports skills while playing outside with their peers in a safe and fun environment. Children aged six and older may be dropped off with the Leaders for up to 3 hours. Children 5 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
