Free Summer Kids Programming Returns to the Cariboo Region

Engage Sport North presents Park Play Days – free activities and sport programming for kids on weekdays throughout the summer

Park Play Days are back in the Cariboo Region. From now until the beginning of September, Engage Sport North is offering free programming on weekdays from 9 a.m. until noon at parks throughout the community for children 2 – 12 years old. 

There will be two sessions offered, with a short lunch break in between, and children can attend one or both sessions. Our trained Program Leaders will lead physical literacy games and activities designed to help children enjoy being physically active while developing important fundamental movement skills.

Each day is different, children will be introduced to a variety of sports and sports skills while playing outside with their peers in a safe and fun environment. Children aged 6 and older may be dropped off with the Leaders for up to 3 hours. Children 5 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.

Timing of sessions

Session 1: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Session 2: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (no sessions on August 7) Centennial Park, 100 Mile House
Thursdays 108 Heritage Site, 108 Mile House
