A targeted coach is a coach that trains an athlete that has been nominated in their sport by Own the Podium or an accredited National Sport Organization or Provincial Sport Organization to access benefits, performance services and most programs through Canadian Sport Institute/ Engage Sport North, a Pacific Sport Centre.
Once a coach receives their letter stating that they are targeted and to contact their local Athlete Coach Services advisor to become registered they can contact Engage Sport North and we will set up an appointment to explain the benefits and register them with the Canadian Sport Institute. Engage Sport North, a Pacific Sport Centre looks after all targeted Coach registrations for Northern BC.
