The Canadian Sport School, designed by the Canadian Sport Institute in partnership with the local school district (SD 57 in Prince George), ensures that athletes in Grades 10, 11, and 12 on the high-performance pathway have the time, support, and resources to balance school and training.
Student-athletes attend their home high schools in a blended schedule format that incorporates classes and training during the school day at the Canadian Sport School Campus to complete personalized strength and conditioning and academic coursework under the supervision of trained specialists and qualified teachers.

Who is eligible to apply for the Prince George Canadian Sport School?
Applying student-athletes are those who are accomplished who may or may not be identified by their local or provincial sport organization. The student-athlete does not have to be an identified athlete via being on a provincial team or provincial targeted list.
If the student-athlete is on a high-performance pathway and wants to partake in the above demands and responsibilities of the elite standards of their sport(s) then all applications are welcome by students who will be in Grades 10, 11 or 12 in a SD57 high school.

No partial or total refund is available for successful applicants once the offer to be in Canadian Sport School for the 2024-25 school year is accepted.
