Canadian Sport School Information Night – Prince George

Applications for the Canadian Sport School program in Prince George are now open. About the Canadian Sport School

• The Canadian Sport School has been in Prince George for the last decade, allowing high-performing athletes to stay in the north, while honing their skills, remaining connected to their social support networks, and balancing sport and school.
• The program is for student-athletes in grades 10-12 who have demonstrated high levels of achievement in their sport.
• Overseen by the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, this program is delivered in partnership between School District 57 and Engage Sport North.
• Chosen athletes will attend Canadian Sport School at the Northern Sport Centre in the afternoon to work on strength, speed, power and plyometrics. During this time, athletes will receive educational information about proper training, sports psychology, nutrition, and more.

Information Night – February 7
Join us at the Northern Sport Centre on February 7 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Wolf Den where our high-performance staff will be on hand to answer parents’, athletes’, and coaches’ questions. Learn more!

How to apply
Student-athletes are encouraged to apply now for an interview for the Prince George Canadian Sport School. The application deadline is March 31, 2024.
